Just file it! We can help. Free. As a Motor City member, you can prepare your taxes online for free and file electronically using our “Just file it! We can help.” program. You’ll find a link on our web site after January 15, 2009.

Sixth annual scholarship awards
We are again proud to join with Motor City Consumers Cooperative in offering students five $2,000 scholarships through the Bathanti-D’Agostno Memorial Scholarship Award program. Our program honors founder Ralph Bathanti and long time member of the Consumers Cooperative Board of Directors John D’Agostino.
Scholastic ability, merit and community involvement are considered in selecting the winners as is a 500-word essay on this topic “The next several months will bring significant changes to your life. What preparations have you made to accommodate these changes?”

61st Annual Meeting
March 17, 2009 You’re invited to the annual meeting of Motor City Co-op Credit Union on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 5 pm on the lower level our main office at 37321 Garfield Road in Clinton Township. The Nominating Committee, consisting of Chairperson Frances Mellen, Cheryl Hurley and Jeffrey Malacko, has selected Gerald Celeskey, John Moran, Dorothy Stanko and Mark Tuttle to run for three-year terms on the Board of Directors. James Sinning has been nominated for the Credit Committee.
